I have spent 13 years in insurance, and have been fortunate to work with some great companies. I spent 10 years on the broking side and a further 3 years underwriting, and I’ve learnt something new about this fascinating sector every single day.

What does success look like?

The moment in time you have achieved the goal you have set yourself, whether career or personal, and quickly set yourself the next one to complete. In my book, success is usually short lived because I’m constantly striving to improve myself.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

I’m still working towards my major ambition, but becoming a Lloyd’s Underwriter will certainly be a noteworthy achievement to me so working at CNA Hardy is great opportunity to achieve my aims.

What do you think sets CNA Hardy apart from the competition?

To work for an organisation that understands where it wants to be and who it is. It’s dynamic, innovative and different; by that I mean it’s small but large, nimble but structured, agile and disciplined. Plus, everyone is motivated, from underwriting, claims, risk to all the other teams to win.

Quite simply some amazing colleagues domestically and globally.
